After working for a multinational American law firm, Valentina Schulte-Braucks joined the Munich office of Noerr LLP in 2011.

Ms. Schulte-Braucks’s practice focuses on Intellectual Property Law, in particular Trademark, Design and Copyright Law, Unfair Competition as well as Information Technology Law. She regularly advises clients on all legal aspects relating to domain disputes in the sectors consumer goods, film and media as well as insurance.

Valentina studied at the German Universities of Münster and Cologne, obtained a degree in International and European Law from the University of Aix-en-Provence (France) and received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (USA). She gained practical experience in the area of IT Law working for the department “New Media” of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Technology as well as the Berkeley Centre for Law and Technology. She speaks four languages fluently and has extended her legal and intercultural experience to the Asian market where she was professionally engaged in the field of Trademark and Copyright Law in Shanghai, China.

Ms. Schulte-Braucks is a member of the German Association for Industrial Property and Copyright (GRUR) and the German American Lawyers’ Association (DAJV).

She is the author of several publications on the topic of Trademark and Design Right Law, most recently on the new gTLD program entitled “Trademarks in Jeopardy: Is .com Old News?”.
