Steve Heflin is Vice President of Sales and previously Senior Director of Business Development at Afilias.

He is in charge of business development of registry and other related services with extensive experience in all aspects of domain names including registrar and registry expertise of gTLDs, sTLDs, ccTLDs, land rushes, aftermarkets, domaining, and the underpinnings of how it all comes together.

Steve is a veteran of the domain name industry with over a decade worth of experience. He brings a unique perspective from both the domain name registry and registrar marketplaces. Prior to joining Afilias, Steve was the co-founder and President of Domain Bank, one of the first domain name registrars to be created after the industry's deregulation in 1999. His roots in Internet architecture run deep, as he founded one of the first ISPs in eastern Pennsylvania at age 25.
