Phil returned to the DNS world in 2009, forming Dot Advice Ltd , a domain name registrar and financial consultancy specialising in new and existing TLDs , financial strategy and business modelling ( called Dot Financials) and premium single& two digit domains.

Phil participated in ICANN’s new gTLD PDP , including Vertical Integration and Financial Evaluation.

Phil is a Certified Accountant and entrepreneur. He holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies. He has 25 years experience as a Corporate accountant , starting up and developing SMEs . He is director of a Financial Management business and two restaurants.

Phil was co founder of Netnames UK and its CFO , UK ‘s top registrar, at the start of commercialisation of domain names in 1995, subsequently merging and floating Group NBT PLC on LSE in 2000. He was involved in the formation of Nominet , UK registry and ICANN.

Phil is CFO of the dot app application.Phil is advising the UK Govt re dot UK cities .
