Kai is a member of the Munich team.

Kai joined HgCapital in 2004 from The Boston Consulting Group in Vienna, where he spent four years working in the industrial goods, telecommunications and financial sectors. He led or co-led the investments in Achilles (which won the Fast Track Private Equity Deal of the Year Award in 2011), StepStone Solutions, TeamSystem and Teufel, and sits on the board of these companies. He has been involved in several other investments, including SiTel Semiconductor, Addison, Visma, and CS Group.

Kai holds degrees from the London School of Economics and the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. A native German speaker, Kai is also fluent in English and conversant in French and Spanish.
